DRUM ROLL…2021 A TO Z BLOG CHALLENGE THEME REVEAL (STARTING APRIL 1)

Time to beat the drums and enjoy the anticipation of a 6th Story Crossroads theme reveal as part of the A to Z Blog Challenge (http://www.a-to-zchallenge.com) that happens throughout the month of April. These are 26 postings for each of the letters of the alphabet (with rest on Sundays). We accept the challenge…again.

THEME: Beating the Odds…lucky folktales around the world to brighten your day

Some say that we have had bad luck for quite a while. Still, we carry on and always work on having all turn out. Are you truly alone in this endeavor? Are we entitled to some great revelation, treasure, or relationship for all to work out in the end?

And who will be outwit in the end?

Death? Pirates? Liars? Thieves? Insane Members of Royalty? Dragons?

Yes.

And so much more.

Curious? We would be lucky for your readership.

While you enjoy this blog, Story Crossroads has been “lucky” to offer a hybrid festival – yes, virtual and in-person options – and would be honored for you to join us. Save your spot and see the schedule here: http://www.storycrossroads.org/festival

We thank our funders such as National Endowment for the Arts, Utah Division of Arts and Museums/Utah Legislature, Western States Arts Federation, Utah Humanities, City of Murray, Salt Lake City Arts Council, Clever Octopus, and many other individuals. Join us in the support by attending or donating or both! (Click here to go directly to donation page.)

Besides this blog series, we will launch our Story Crossroads Academy, self-led online storytelling courses, on April 1, 2021. Meanwhile, we are fundraising to add American Sign Language to the Academy. Any bit towards it makes a difference – from $5 to $50 to $100 to $1,000. Donate here: tinyurl.com/donateforASL-SC

This looks really cool – I’m hoping to do something on my own fairytale project at some point, so this will be awesome to watch!
