Lynn Wing studied Dramatic Arts at UC Berkeley, later attending Brigham Young University where she took storytelling and folklore classes. Since then, Lynn has worked as a writer, interviewing and gathering stories for documentaries, articles, and other projects, while fine tuning her skills as a storyteller at libraries, schools, festivals, retreats, symposiums and other venues. Lynn is a member of Three Boomer, Broads a storytelling trio who share stories about growing up in the 1950’s and 1960’s. A collection of their stories will soon be available in their book “Remembering While We Still Can.”
Besides performing, she produces many events. She helped run the La Crosse Storytelling Festival, the largest storytelling festival in Wisconsin. She recently became the Story Crossroads Story Training Chair (www.facebook.com/storycrossroads).
