Mary Louise began telling stories in 2018 to preserve personal and family history.  Since then, she has expanded to other genres and performed professionally in regional storytelling festivals including Story Crossroads, Weber State University, Teton, Clinton, and Clearfield. She has also performed at This is The Place State Park and the Provo Pioneer Village.  She took 3rd Place in the Timpanogos Hauntings contest and was a finalist in the Utah’s Biggest Liar Contest.

In addition to storytelling, Mary Louise is a longtime performer of live Theater.  Some of her favorite roles include Adriana in The Comedy of Errors, Mrs. Paroo in The Music Man, The Widow McDowell in The Christmas Miracle of Johnathan Toomey, and Cynthia in The Real Inspector Hound.  She has discovered that directing a play is (almost) as fun as being onstage and has directed several school, church, and community productions. She has written and directed two works of musical Readers’ Theater.

She recently started a business as a Voiceover Artist and Audiobook Narrator.  She has voiced projects including commercials, meditation blogs, and training videos for the University of Utah and DMBA.  A favorite project was to voice Jane Walton, Scottish immigrant, in an interactive video at Bluff Fort. She has narrated audiobooks for Learning Ally and Audible.
