Darci Tucker is an award-winning storyteller, educator, and historical interpreter who has inspired teachers and audiences across the United States for more than three decades. She portrays more than 20 women from American history, from an indentured servant to a Scottish countess, bringing historical figures to life through storytelling, character interpretation, and primary sources. Since 1995, Darci has specialized in professional development for classroom and museum educators, building on more than three decades of experience teaching Colonial and Revolutionary-era history, including 25 years with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. She serves on the faculty of the Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute and was the Founding Director of the LEGACY Character Interpretation Scholarship Program at Bethel University in Tennessee. A nationally recognized presenter, Darci performs and leads workshops across the country, helping educators engage students through creative, practical approaches to history and storytelling. She is also the author of Embodying the Story: A Step-by-Step Guide to Being Someone You Aren’t.
