Darci Tucker is an award-winning storyteller, educator, and historical interpreter who has inspired teachers and audiences across the United States for more than three decades. Since 1995, she has specialized in professional development for classroom and museum educators, drawing on 25 years of experience teaching Colonial and Revolutionary-era history with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. Darci serves on the faculty of the Colonial Williamsburg Teacher Institute and was the Founding Director of the LEGACY Character Interpretation Scholarship Program at Bethel University in Tennessee. A nationally recognized presenter, she leads workshops and performances that bring history to life through storytelling, character interpretation, and primary sources while helping educators meet Common Core and state standards. Her engaging programs have been featured by institutions including the Mount Vernon Teacher Institute, the State University of New York at Cortland, and numerous county offices of education across the country, equipping educators with creative, practical strategies that deepen student engagement and foster a lifelong love of history and storytelling.
