Zalka Csenge Virág is a professional storyteller and author from Hungary. She specializes in folktales, myths, and epics. She has a Master’s Degree in Storytelling from East Tennessee State University, and a PhD in Culture Studies; she publishes story collections both in English and Hungarian. In 2015 she was the recipient of the J. J. Reneaux Storytelling Mentorship Grant, which allowed her to study with Cathryn Fairlee, the creator of Epic Day, and immerse herself in the world of telling traditional epics.
