Annual Summit & Festival

Rates include all Summit & Festival whether live, virtual, or hybrid:

$15 per household – until May 1, 2022 to be $20

$25 per class – until May 1, 2022 to be $35

$5 per homeschool group – until May 1, 2022 to be $10

This is a separate ticket than the rest of the programming shared below. Story Crossroads Members–individual or through organizations–can receive reduced rate. Email info@storycrossroads.org if code is needed. Lorna MacDonald Czarnota teaches a 5-hour hybrid workshop based on her books “Dancing at the Crossroads: A Guide for Practitioners in At-Risk Youth Programs.” This is a true hybrid where she will present in-person with people who can attend in Murray, Utah (Salt Lake County) but also have a Zoom option for people who cannot travel or be there in Utah. We have a videographer who is an expert in this type of set-up. You can also review the details before registration here.

All parts of the Festival/Summit (minus Lorna’s presentation) can be viewed from mid-May to June 15, 2022

State of the Art, presenters could be a mixture of in-person and/or virtual, TBD, receiving reports from the six major continents with focus on storytelling and education

In-Person Festival with youth tellers and professionals sharing the stage at Murray City Park, Utah, Recorded so that people can view later if not part of the in-person crowd

Virtual Field Trip Day

“Language of Story” that focuses on a different language each year and its relation to storytelling techniques and traditions, streamed to Story Crossroads YouTube Channel so people can ask questions in real-time

Virtual, pre-recordings with option to ask questions after the fact through email to be answered by the next day

*  Two “bite-sized” educational based presentations geared for junior high/high school/higher education students, easier to see more classes do this as a virtual field trip due to working better with school schedules
