Robin Bady is an award-winning storyteller and arts educator with over 30 years of experience performing all over the world. A true multi-hyphenate — storyteller, director, writer, teacher, actress, and stray cat mom — Robin has dedicated her craft to exploring the spoken word and inspiring others in the most personal, elemental way we know: through stories. Robin is currently reworking her new one-woman show “Nancy Drewinsky and the Search for the Missing Letter,” a story about her family’s adventures with McCarthyism and beginning another called, “The Peripatetic Jew.” Robin curates the series, “No, We Won’t Shut Up!”, a show highlighting women’s stories about sexual assault, racism, biogtry, rape and gentrification. She is a recipient of the JJ Reneaux Emerging Artist Award and the Oracle Award for Leadership and Service for the MidAtlantic Region of NSN. She is also a NYC MothSlam winner. Robin has been published in Storytelling Across the Curriculum and Storytelling Magazine. She has served as Director of the Storytelling Center of New York City, and been liason for NYC storytellers in the New York City area.
