Lynn Wing studied Dramatic Arts at UC Berkeley, later attending Brigham Young University where she took storytelling and folklore classes. Since then, Lynn has worked as a writer, interviewing and gathering stories for documentaries, articles, and other projects, while fine tuning her skills as a storyteller at libraries, schools, festivals, retreats, symposiums and other venues. Lynn is a member of Three Boomer Broads, a storytelling trio who share stories about growing up in the 1950′s and 1960′s. A collection of their stories is now available in their book “Three Boomer Broads: Remembering While We Still Can.”
Besides performing, Lynn has produced many events. She helped establish the La Crosse Storytelling Festival, the largest storytelling festival in Wisconsin. She is currently the Story Crossroads Story Training Chair.
