2023 State of the Art Presenters
Liz Paige is a diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and social justice educator and advocate. For the past 33 years, she has been a teacher and administrator in independent schools in Salt Lake City. In July, Liz will begin her new position as the Associate Director of the United Jewish Federation of Utah. Throughout her life, Liz has made Judaism and Jewish culture accessible to Jews and non-Jews alike. She welcomes all who want to learn to ask questions, which is a very Jewish thing to do.
Pamela Mower was born deaf and grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. She earned her BA in Communication Studies and MS in Administration and Supervision from Gallaudet University, the only Liberal Arts University for the Deaf in the World. Pamela now works at the Division of services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (also known as Sanderson Community Center of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) as the manager for the Continuing Education and Outreach Department.
Dr. Kaleem Mohammed serves as a youth director at Islamic Society of Greater Salt lake and academic director at Iqra Academy of Utah. He loves teaching and reading about Islam and Science. He grew up in Hyderabad, India and worked as an assistant professor at school of medicine, University of Utah teaching pharmacology to MD students. He feels fortunate to own two pharmacies, where his focus is patient care and medication therapy management.

Virtual Field Trip
Whether you’re involved with a school, homeschool or another organization such as a senior center, you can signup for a virtual field trip. Public and private schools as well as homeschool.
In-Person Field Trip
If you are in the Salt Lake County, Utah area, then you can come to our in-person days on Monday and Tuesday, May 8-11, 2023. You fill out the same registration as virtual field trips though indicate your intention to come and have seats ready.
